Working with SBDC in Regional WA
IPS Management Consultants has been delivering the SBDC Regional Program in Regional Western Australia since 2017.
SBDC Regional is funded by the State Government through the Small Business Development Corporation. IPS provide access to a network of business advisers available FREE to small business owners across regional Western Australia. PKKP Strategic Plan | Puutu Kunti Kuruma and Pinikura Peoples Aboriginal Corporation
IPS was engaged by Native Title Trust holders Perpetual Limited to partner Puutu Kunti Kurrama Pinikura Aboriginal Corporation in the development of a refreshed 2025-2027 strategic plan. The process began with an introductory engagement, inception phase, and a two-day co-design workshop with the PKKP Board and community stakeholders. The resulting strategic plan provided a strong foundation for the PKKP Corporation's long-term success, ensuring resilience and the ability to navigate future challenges while supporting the community’s needs and aspirations.
Murujuga Rock Art Strategy Review
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) engaged IPS Management Consultants to deliver a five-year review of the Murujuga Rock Art Strategy, developed in partnership with the Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation (MAC). The Strategy seeks to protect one of the world’s most significant rock art landscapes while balancing cultural governance with industrial activity.
IPS designed a culturally respectful, stakeholder-informed review framework built around four enquiry domains: cultural integrity, resourcing and capacity, partnerships and governance, and outcomes and adaptation. Engagement methods included a workshop with the MAC Board and Circle of Elders, targeted interviews, an online survey, and a light desktop review. Despite time and resource constraints, IPS applied iterative, adaptive design to ensure clarity, cultural safety, and methodological rigour. Key learnings highlighted the value of triangulation, prioritising cultural leadership, and embedding Traditional Owner authority. The final report will deliver practical recommendations to strengthen the Strategy’s governance and future implementation. |
