Michelle Woosnam is a proud Banjima/Noongar Balladong woman related to the Sara and Swan families in the Pilbara, and Howard families in the South West.
She has had a successful career in working with government and not-for-profit organisations. She has worked towards the education, health, social and economic advancement of Aboriginal communities, while living and working all over WA and the Northern Territory. Her extensive experience in project management, mentoring and leadership of Indigenous women and youth across Western Australia has given her a keen sense of community and a passion for connecting people and opportunities. Michelle is a confident and culturally safe communicator and leader, with extensive experience in community engagement and a natural ability to communicate, especially in the field of facilitation and problem solving. Her ability to build, maintain and enhance strong working relationships with stakeholders and community is key to her success as a professional. |
