We are creative thinkers and strategists, working alongside organisations, businesses, and communities to unlock power and innovation. We know that economic equity will grow from sovereignty, readiness and agency. We understand that power can be hard and soft and that complex systems require emergent, adaptive thinking.
Relationships, trust, and deep listening are at the heart of how we engage - honouring First Nations ways of knowing, doing and being. By building on existing strengths, amplifying knowledge systems and strengthening governance - we can support individuals and organisations in cultivating readiness and increasing agency.
“Power is already there — in the land, the song, the language, and the people. IPS helps extract and amplify that through our work.” - Marlon Motlop, Delivery Lead We work across sectors including regenerative agriculture, creative industries, renewable energy, tourism, native foods, and construction, supporting businesses and communities to build capability, shift old systems, and shape futures through targeted investment and good governance.
“Our strategies, plans, organisational reviews, capacity building support, and financial models are designed in response to a deep understanding of the communities and businesses we work with. We navigate complexity and opportunity, so our clients can unlock power and stand firm in their purpose and values – especially in places where the system hasn’t worked for everyone” - Colette McEntee, Executive Lead

IBA Partnership Framework Review | Indigenous Business Australia
Indigenous Business Australia (IBA) sought to enhance its Partnerships Framework to better align with its evolving strategic goals. IPS conducted an in-depth review, identifying the need for clearer definitions of partnership types and improved processes for establishing and managing partnerships. The outcome was a refined framework with clearer guidelines for partnership approval, management, and evaluation. Additionally, IPS proposed an entity-wide partnerships strategy that aligns with IBA’s corporate strategy, focusing on mutual accountability, risk-sharing, and co-design. This strategy ensures that partnerships are strategically aligned, well-managed, and capable of delivering measurable impact.
