The IPS team had a great time at our annual 2-day retreat recently. IPS team members from Queensland, New South Wales and across Western Australia, all came together on Mandjoogoordap country, Mandurah WA.
The staff retreat began with a powerful Welcome to Country by George Walley – Mandurah Dreaming, who shared his valuable knowledge of the region with all our team members.
Mandjoogoordap (meaning 'meeting place of the heart'), was a special place for our team to come together as ONE team to connect, reflect and recharge.
The two days involved strategic activities, workshops and sessions, which held some meaningful discussions on cultural safety, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The Retreat gave us all the opportunity to reflect on each other's growth and learnings over the year.
We couldn't be more excited about the growth that's been instigated in our team, and we are honoured to have a team that is committed and passionate about what they do.
Our team left more inspired, energised and ready to get back to work!
We are looking forward to what the year will bring for IPS with all the new challenges and opportunities.
